Minsk: Detained Activists Get Fined

On 2 August Leninski borough court of Minsk fined the youth activists Artur Dasanau, Yana Karpovich and Siarhei Palaukou 62 000 rubles (about 28 US dollars).
There were detained late in the evening on 1 August at a private apartment which was rented by the public activist Krystsina Shatsikava. All of them spent the night at the police station. In the morning the police composed violation reports where the activists were accused of swearing. A criminal case has been brought against Zmitser Lisienka who was detained together with them.
