Hrodna: pupils prohibited to participate in historical scientific conference
Siarhei Batura and Aliaksandr Liutomski, pupils of Hrodna school #28, and their teacher Aliaksandr Rabkou were prohibited to take part in the historical scientific conference.
Andrei Kim transferred to prison hospital because of eye inflammation
Recently the political prisoner Andrei Kim has had the first meeting with his mother, Tatsiana Kim. Andrei has been transferred from jail to prison hospital, because of rapid deterioration of the eyesight.
11 American diplomats to leave Belarus 3 May
According to more accurate information, 3 May in the morning 11 American diplomats will leave Belarus. As BelaPAN was informed by the US Embassy, after their departure the Belarusian mission will consist of only four members including the chargé d'affaires (ad interim) Jonathan Moore.
Labor Day: preventive detention in Mahiliou
In Mahiliou a building tradesman, member of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party Hramada Mikola Rasiuk was detained preventively detained by the police on 1 May.

2 May judge Yury Harbatok sentenced Mikola Statkevich to 10 days of jail for participation in Labor Day action.
Another act of vandalism in Kurapaty burial ground
A reproduction of Our Lady icon, installed on the chapel by artist Aliaksei Marachkin, was torn off. The act of vandalism happened at night 30 April – 1 May.
1 May action brings detentions and arrests
About 30 activists of the civil campaign European Belarus were detained yesterday near the National Library in Minsk suburb Uruccha where pro-regime trade unions were celebrating May Day. Among the detained are Yauhen Afnahel, Andrei Babitski, Zmitser Barodka, the Young Front leaders Zmitser Dashkevich, Artur Finkevich, Zmitser Khvedaruk, and chairman of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Narodnaya Hramada) Mikola Statkevich.
