Tried for Protesting against War in Chechnya

On 11 September Minsk Tsentralny Borough Court considered the administrative case against Vasil Parfiankow, participant of the picket against the war in Chechnya, held on 8 September opposite the Russian Embassy.Vasil Parfiankow was warned. We should remind that the picket organizers, Head of the unregistered Belarusian Freedom Party Siarhey Vysotski has been sentenced to 10 days of jail and has gone on the hunger strike of protest. Another picket participant, Yury Danilaw, has been fined 280 000 rubles.
