MOTHER OF MISSING JOURNALIST ZAVADSKI ASKS JUSTICE MINISTER NOT TO LIQUIDATE VIASNA

Mother of the kidnapped journalist Zmitser Zavadski asked the Justice Minister “think twice before closing down Viasna human rights organization”. She addressed the Minister with an open letter.
“I learned from the press, that the Ministry of Justice made such a responsible decision.
I met Viasna members right after my son had been kidnapped. People who had already received help from Viasna advised me to come to this NGO”. I received many useful recommendations and real help from members of this NGO.
God forbid somebody get in my situation. Only then one starts to realize and value support and attention. I beg you, think twice before you close down this organization. Everything can happen in life. Anyone might get in my place. It would be a pity, if there would be no kind and sympathetic people with the possibility to render real assistance around”.
