ISSUE OF THE TELESKOP NEWSPAPER WAS NOT PUBLISHED

The Telescope independent Belarusian-language weekly is printed in Lida, and distributed in Masty. The printing press administration refused to print the new issue without any prior notices.
According to the chief editor Yazep Palubiatka, on Friday they brought the issue to Lida printing press, but in the evening they learned the newspaper had not been printed.
Palubiatka: They called to the newspaper founder Prushkova and told her the contract was invalid thus they did not print the issue. According to the contract, they had to warn us about that in advance. Moreover, that we had no problems with the contract for 7 months.
Under the newspaper license, The Telescope can be spread in Hrodna region. Its circulation is 1000 copies. During 6 months of its activities, the newspaper got over 600 subscribers. The printing press failed to print issue #30.
