ZUBR Activists Fined for Distribution of Newspaper

In the end of November two youngsters were detained in the town of Zaslawl for distribution of the newspaper “Soprotivleniye” at the local market. The ZUBR activists Liubow Kuchynskaya and Siarhey Rykaw were found guilty of violation of Article No. 172-1 of the Code of Administrative Violations after testimonies of the witnesses Dashchynski and Papowskaya who had informed the police about the “violation”. This article provides responsibility for production and distribution of printed production without issue data. However, even the policemen who detained Kuchynskaya and Rykaw. Despite this, Judge A. Tochkar fined both defendants 10 minimal wages (165 000 rubles).www.zubr-belarus.com
