FINED FOR SPREADING LEAFLETS ON HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

Maskowski borough administrative commission of Brest made a decision on the case of Nina Davydowskaya. Nina was detained on December 10, 2003 for spreading leaflets near the entry to Tsvetatron plant. The police drew up a report for spreading printed materials without output data. The leaflets were allegedly directed against public and state order. Now she has to pay 49,000 rubles (about 25 USD) for spreading leaflets on the Human Rights Day. Nina Davydowskaya plans to appeal to court against the decision of the commission
