27.01.2004.

On 26 January Minsk Tsentralny Borough Court fined Raman Kazakevich 20 minimal wages for participation in the picket, conducted on 23 January near the building of the prosecutor’s office. The picket participants held portraits of the missing politicians and the journalist Zmitser Zavadski as well as the poster “Lukashenka, Sheyman, Sivakow! It’s time to take the responsibility!”. Almost all picketers were detained by the police. However, only Raman Kazakevich was tried. The administrative case against Yuliya Bandarenka was submitted to the committee on juvenile affairs. During the detention the girl was beaten – a policeman hit her in the face and smashed her lips.
