Young Front Protests against State anti-Semitism

In the evening of 23 February eight members of Young Front and the president of the Universal Association of Belarusian Jews Yakaw Hutman came to the US Embassy. They held the poster “Lukashenka destroys monuments to Holocaust victims. President Bush, help to preserve the historical heritage of the Jewish, Belarusian and American peoples!”The Young Front members also prepared the appeal to president of the United States that was passed to the embassy. There they turned the attention of the US president that propaganda of xenophobia and ruining of Jewish monuments have turned into a usual practice for the last 10 years and called him to make everything possible to make Belarusian authorities stop acts of State anti-Semitism.
The action lasted for several minutes, after which the police detained its participants.
