Organizers of Chernobyl March Rally Tried Today

Organizers of Chernobyl March Ales Mikhalevich and Ludmila Hraznova are charged under Art 167.1 part 2 of the Code of Administrative Offences (violation of the procedure of holding mass events). They are facing fines from 150 – 300 basic units (1325 – 2645 USD) or arrest of up to 15 days.
When the Chernobyl March action was over, its organizers received summons to Savetski borough court for 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. of April 27.
The summonses were received by Ludmila Hraznova (United Civic Party), Ales Mikhalevich (deputy chair of Belarusian Popular Front), Paval Znavets (Belarusian Social Democratic Hramada), and Henadz Bykaw (chair of the Free Trade Union).
