German Branches of “Amnesty International” Protest against Violations of Human Rights in Belarus

Activists of German units of the international human rights organization “Amnesty International” carried out an action against violations of human rights in Belarus. They sent hundreds of faxes to Belarusian embassies in Bonn and Berlin against repressions towards “Zubr” activists and liquidation of NGOs. They also demanded to release the former rector of Homel Medical Institute professor Yury Bandazhewski and urge Belarusian authorities to begin independent investigation of the disappearances of political opponents of the regime.Add commentary
