Minsk Tsentralny Borough Court Imprisons and fined UCP Activists for Unauthorized Picket Capital’s Center

In the evening of 3 August three activists of the United Civil Party from the town of Salihorsk carried out an unauthorized picket in Kastrychnitskaya square in the center of Minsk. They unrolled there the banner “Ten years of dictatorship. Lukashenka, Go Away!”.

Aliaksey Prykhodzka was sentenced to 15 days of jail, Natallia Zubarevich – to 10 days. Tatsiana Laryionava has a 7-year-old child, that’s why she couldn’t be imprisoned according to Belarusian legislation. Judge Leanid Yasinovich fined her 30 basic values (570 000 rubles).
