Brest Regional Court Reversed Warning to Local Councilor

Uladzimir Malei, local councilor, member of BPF party, was warned by Malaryta court for meeting with voters in Struha village. The police and, later, the district court decided the meeting was an unauthorized rally. In spite of the law, the court heard Malei’s case in his absence.Brest regional court reversed the decision of the borough court. Malei’s case is sent back for a new hearing to another judge. “at the new consideration the court is to take the decision in compliance with the law”.
