Leaders of Entrepreneurs to Be Tried on 26 August

On 26 August Leninski court of Hrodna will hear the criminal case of Valery Levanewski and his colleague Alexander Vasilyew. Levanewski was kept in pre-trial detention center since May 18, 2004. Vasilyew had given a written undertaking not to leave the place. They are charged with insult of honor and dignity of the President. According to the investigators, the insult is contained in a rhyme in leaflets spread before the entrepreneurs’ protest action on May 1.Add commentary
