No Law for MPs?

27.08.2004.

Aliaksandr Arkhipaw, deputy of the Chamber of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, head of the Regular Commission of CRNA on legislation and court issues, runs for seat at the parliament at electoral circuit No. 71.

According to the electoral legislation, agitation campaign can start only after registration of candidate for deputy position by appropriate circuit electoral commission. Despite of this, Arkhipaw’s agitation fly-sheet with his surname, electoral slogan, specification of the day of the election (17 October) and some other reference data has been thrown to post boxes of citizens and distributed at polyclinics of electoral circuit No. 71 for several days already.
