Minsk Tsentralny Borough Court Doesn’t Satisfy Complaint of Marynich’s Attorney

Minsk Tsentralny Borough Court refused to satisfy the complaint of Mikhail Marynich’s attorney Vera Stramkowskaya who asked to find illegal the prolongation of the detention term at investigative ward for Mikhail Marynich. According to her, the state of Marynich’s health is deteriorating.

On 3 September the judge Natallia Vaytsiakhovich declined the complaint against the illegal custody of Mikhail Marynich. By this complaint Vera Stramkowskaya tried to get Marynich released. She referred to absence of active investigation and said it was quite doubtful he would escape in the case the restraint was changed. The judge agreed with the ruling of prosecutor’s office, according to which Marynich will be kept in the investigative ward of KGB till at least 26 September (he was detained on 26 April).

According to Stramkowskaya, the state of Marynich’s health has deteriorated: Marynich often regularly complains about heartache.
