Tax Inspection Demands from Candidate Yury Ziankovich Income Declarations for Three Years

On 8 October the candidate Yury Ziankovich received a letter from Minsk Tax Inspection with the demand to present income declarations for 2001, 2002 and 2003 by 8 October. Otherwise the inspection threatens to draw him to administrative responsibility in accordance with the acting legislation.

-- I have contacted the tax inspection and said that till 17 October I am on the leave of absence and can’t present anything to them, -- said Yury Ziankovich. They answered that I had to write explanation that I couldn’t submit my income declarations and send to them. I am going to do it. I think this is an attempt to find something compromising against me as candidate.

We should remind that circuit election commission has already warned Yury Ziankovich for distributing of the BPF program and anti-referendum materials together with his pre-electoral agitation. Yesterday Central Election Commission left this warning if force.
