UCP Member Fined for Alleged Illegal Production and Distribution of Periodicals

On 12 November judge of Zhlobin District Court Alena Yarmolchyk considered the administrative case against the head of Zhlobin district UCP organization Piatro Mirashnichenka and fined him for “illegal production and distribution of periodicals”.The police and the prosecutor’s office of Zhlobin, Zhlobin District Deputy Soviet and the editor of the state newspaper Novy Dzen have a hand it this punishment. In reality, Mr. Mirashnichenka wrote the article “Let’s say no to lifelong dictatorship!” on his private computer and printed it with his printer. As a result, the computer was confiscated, an administrative case was brought and the activist was punished.
