Anatol Liabedzka Refuses to Testify to Prosecutor’s Office

The leader of United Civil Party Anatol Liabedzka received a call-up to Minsk Tsentralny Borough Board of Internal Affairs to testify concerning the publication of the article about pre-electoral counsel at presidential administration before the parliamentary election in the Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza.However, on 2 December Liabedzka refused to testify. To his mind, the prosecutors’ offices of Belarus are used as an instrument of political pressurization and therefore it is useless to cooperate with them.
