“Pressbol Plius” Complains against Warning of Information Ministry

On 19 January 2005 the founder of Pressbol newspaper, Unitarian enterprise “Pressbol Plius” filed to the Supreme Economic Court the suit in which it asks to find the warning, issued to the newspaper by the Ministry of Information, invalid.The warning was issued on 5 January for violation of article #5 of the Law “On Press and Other Mass Media” -- publication of the court materials the trial on which wasn’t over by the time of the publication without the written permission of the responsible official for which the Ministry of Information took the suit of the Minister of Finances and the head of Belarusian Association of Gymnastics Mikalay Korbut to the newspaper, dated 21 December 2004. At the time of the publication Minsk Tsentralny Borough Court considered the suit of M. Korbut to the editorial board of Pressbol newspaper, its chief editor U. Berazhkow and journalist S. Viarsotski.
