On 20 March special police detained three Polish journalists in Hrodna at about 8.30 p.m.

This is the information provided by Radio Liberty. Among the detained were Mikhal Katsevich and Adam Tukhlinski, correspondent and press photographer for Newsweek, and Martsin Smialouski, correspondent for Polsat.
They were detained in the electoral district of the 3d comprehensive school First police officers checked their accreditation and then let them enter the station. However, soon special police showed up saying the Polish journalists allegedly had falsified accreditation documents. The General Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Hrodna confirmed that the journalists had been detained.
