Iosif Siaredzich: The Narodnaia volia will continue

30.09.2005.

The deputy editor of the Narodnaia volia Sviatlana Kalinkina told Radio Liberty that the editorial office continues to work on the next issues and considers printing outside Belarus: "We have little hope that we will be able to find a printing company in Belarus. If we choose printing in Smolensk, the Narodnaia volia will have to consider the frequency of the paper because delivering the paper from Smolensk every day is impossible…" He said that the paper would continue in any case. Possibly, the form of work will change, or the paper format. The publication may come out in special issues as the Komsomolskaya Pravda did during the 1991 putsch.
Notably, on 1 October the Narodnaia volia founder Iosif Siaredzich celebrated his birthday. It was the day when the printing and distribution contracts were canceled.
