Narodnaia Volia suit against Minablsaiuzdruk rejected

On 21 November Minsk City Executive Court rejected the suit filed by the editorial office of the Narodnaia volia against the unitary enterprise Minablsaiuzdruk that cancelled the agreement for retail distribution of the newspaper through the kiosks in Minsk Region, which took effect on 1 October. According to the human rights activist Hary Pahaniaila, who appeared for the Narodnaia volia in court, he plans to complain the court decision in higher courts.
On 17 November Minsk City Executive Court rejected similar suits filed by the newspaper against the unitary enterprises Minharsaiuzdruk and Belsaiuzdruk. At the same time, the suit filed by the editorial office against the Chyrvonaia zorka was granted by the court, ordering that cooperation with the newspaper be resumed.
