On November 28 the court of Leninski Borough of Mahilou heard the administrative case against the ZUBR activist Iauhien Suvorau

Iauhien Suvorau was convicted by terms of Article 156 of CAO (disorderly conduct) to a fine of one basic unit – 29 thousand Belarusian rubles. The decision was taken by Judge Aliena Dyblienka.

We would like to remind you that Iauhien Suvorau was detained on November 16 together with the ZUBR activist Palud, also fined one basic unit. They were detained by the traffic police on the road from Mahilou to Bialynichy, after which the ZUBR activists had to spend the night in the police station. The detention was in fact ungrounded, the young people did not commit any offence, so the police officers had to accuse the young people of using unprintable language. It should be noted that recently Article 156 of CAO (disorderly conduct) has been often used against public activists.
