Belarusian National Technical University: Deputy Dean of Marketing, Management and Business Faculty Searches Rooms of Student Dormitories

On 17 March dormitory neighbors phoned to the 2nd year student of the faculty of Marketing, Management and Business Iauhen Ivaniuk, who was at classes. The dormitory is situated in Kolas St. 26 in Minsk. The neighbors said the deputy dean of his faculty and unknown persons in plain clothes (possibly KGB) were searching his room. When Mr Ivaniuk left the university and walked to his room, the search was over. The deputy dean confiscated from the room the CD with Milinkevic’s speech. Ia.Ivaniuk collected signatures for Milinkevich’s registration as a candidate to the presidential position. According to him, this could be the reason for such ‘warm attention’ of the deputy dean.
