Ashmiany: Police Detain Activist of Initiative Group of Aliaksandr Milinkevich Piatro Iavidovich

On 17 March in Ashmiany the police detained Piatro Iavidovich, the activist of the initiative group of the candidate to the presidential position Aliaksandr Milinkevich. Veranika Iavidovich’s the detainee’s wife, was told her husband would be imprisoned for 4 days. The reasons weren’t explained.

Chair of Ruzhany Town Milinkevich’s Headquarters Uladzimir Radzivonchyk Is Interrogated at Brest Customs Office

On 17 March, while crossing the Belarusian-Polish border, the chair of Ruzhany town electoral headquarters of Aliaksandr Milinkevich Uladzimir Radzivonchyk was thoroughly examined by the border guards. Then he was detained ‘in connection with the criminal case in which he was one of the accused’ and interrogated in the building of Brest customs office. Mr Radzivonchyk stated that the interrogators were forcing him to false testimony against the chair of the United Civil Party Anatol Liabedzka, but he refused.
