On the 20 year date of Charnobyl tragedy an action devoted to it took place in Salihorsk.

The press service of Salihorsk Malady Front reported that a kind of Charnobylski Shliakh was organized by the friends of Zubr and Malady Front. A group of about 30 young activists were walking along the main city streets wearing respirators. They were questioning passers by about their attitude and 80 per cent approved of their actions. One of the participants of the rally said that the topic of radioactive danger is ignored in Belarus and the officials’ policy is to settle the polluted area and to build a new Nuclear Power Station in Belarus. Their aim was to draw people’s attention to that and he supposes the activists succeeded.
