Minsk: 9 Youth Activists Detained for Wearing For Freedom Badges

At 8 p.m. on 2 June in the center of Minsk the police detained nine youth activists for wearing the badges For Freedom: Mikita Batalau, Katsiaryna Fursa, Iuliia Harachka (under age) Tatsiana Kamkara, Maryia Kraikova, Iauhen Lesenko (under age) Iauhen Renhord, Siarhei Rohach, Iryna Zavadskaia. All of them were taken to Minsk Tsentralny Borough Board of Internal Affairs. The duty policeman refused to provide any information about the reasons for the detention, referring to the absence of the reports from the policemen who conducted the detention.Add commentary
