Valuable books taken away from Writers House library

On June 8 the property of the Union of Belarusian Writers was distressed by a court officer. Since none of the Minsk libraries could take the UBWs collection of books, it was resolved to divide the library into four parts. The most valuable books those with the authors autographs are to be taken by the Presidents library. The other books will go to the Pedagogical University, Belarusian State University and the University of Culture. According to some information, the premises of the library will be occupied by a restaurant.Add commentary
