Belaruskaia Encyklapedyia publishers to be evicted

According to the publishing houses head Henadz Pashkou, it is not clear yet where Belaruskaia Encyklapedyia will be situated in future. Under Lukashenkas special decree, the building of the company will be owned by Minsk City Economic Court. We have not found any variants of our future location so far. Perhaps, the new place will be better than the old own. Still, we do not know the exact day of eviction, said H.Pashkou.

The publishing house will turn 40 in January 2007. Belaruskaia Encyklapedyia is the only Belarusian publishing house which specializes in issuing encyclopedias, references and other fundamental works. Within 40 years of its work, it has published over 700 volumes of various contents.
