Local democrats launch legislation and judicial reform program

The campaign will be carried out by the National Committee of the United Democratic Forces. Its experts prepared a special bulletin called Legislation and Judicial Reform. Belarus: A Look to the Future. According to the Committees chair Anatol Liabedzka, Belarusian judges are to be familiarized with the bulletins contents. At first, there were no problems with distributing the bulletin. But, later when the campaign spread around, there appeared a special regulation prohibiting to do it.Several people were detained and persecuted for distributing the program, including Stsiapan Navaselchan in Brest and Siarhei Panamarou in Kletsk.
According to the National Committee, a great number of judges have already received the bulletin.
