Salihorsk Court Warned Parents Of 16-Years Old Jauhien Miadzvedzeu

Jauhien Miadzvedzeu, 16-year old activist of democratic movement was detained by the police in mid June when he picketed the court building during the consideration of the case of another activist Alaksej Valabujeu.
Alaksej Valabujeu together with Ivan Shyla organized a performance near “Belkali” administration building. Economic crisis at the plant told on many people who work at “Belkali” and who suffered decrease and delay of salaries because of wrong policy of state. The guys offered the passers-by to buy salt to help the biggest town plant overcome this crisis.
It is not the first time Jauhien Miadzvedzeu faces the consequences of his civic and political activities. Prior to that he was called to KGB and Prosecutor’s office where he was questioned about the activities of “Young Front”.
Ivan Shyla, another youth activist and one of the first youngsters to go on hunger strike in May-June, will face administrative commission headed by Halina Piatrashka, deputy head of executive committee on ideological issues.
