Mikalai Astreika Transferred to High-Security Prison

The political prisoner, activist of Partnership, civil initiative of election monitoring Mikalai Astreika has been sent to a ferule colony in the city of Shklou, Mahiliou region. It’s worth mentioning that Astreika has been sentenced to 2 years in a minimum-security correctional labor facility. He was found guilty of violation of the article 193 of the Criminal Code (activities on behalf of an unregistered organization). It is known that a former head of the Belarusian State TV and Radio Company Iahor Rybakou is serving a term for bribery in that colony.
