Detentions near President’s Office

Ales Abramovich, member of the Social Democratic Party “Hramada” tried to carry out a picket near the President’s Office. RFE/RL reports, he unfolded poster “Freedom to Alexander Kazulin and other political prisoners” near the building. In several minutes guards of the President’s security service detained Ales Abramovich and two journalists: RFE/RL reporter Halina Abakunchyk and Belarusy i Rynok Weekly reporter Ksenia Alimava.
The detained have been taken to the city police department.
