Ales Abramovich Faces Trial for Picketing

Ales Abramovich, member of the Social Democratic Party “Hramada”, will be tried for organizing an unauthorized picketing, reports RFE/RL.
Today Ales Abramovich came to the building of the President’s Office and unfolded a poster: “Freedom to Kazulin and other political prisoners”.
In several minutes Abramovich was detained by officers of the President’s security service. They also detained journalists -- Halina Abakunchyk, reporter of RFE/RL, and Ksenia Alimava, reporter of Belarusy i Rynok weekly.
Later the journalists were released.
