Alexander Abramovich Sentenced to 15 Days of Jail

Alexander Abramovich, member of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada) from Barysau was sentenced to 15 days of jail for picketing in support of political prisoners.
RFE/RL learned that from Leninski court of Minsk. On October 26 Mr. Abramovich came to the building of the President’s Office and unfolded a poster with a portrait of Alexander Kazulin and a slogan: “Freedom to Kazulin and other political prisoners”. In several minutes he was detained by the security guards and people in plain clothes.
In January Abramovich spent 7 days n Akrestsina jail for picketing the President’s Office with the poster: “Elections without dictator Lukashenka”
