Ministry of Justice Refuses to Register Association of Belarusian Pensioners Stareishyny

The official reason for this decision is that there were no minutes of the initiative group on holding of the constituent assembly and some of the delegates to the assembly weren’t present at the regional sittings.
The pensioners believe that the ministry’s pretensions are groundless, because these minutes aren’t demanded by the ministry’s instruction for composition of registration documents. Besides, on finding lack of necessary documents the officials were to have informed the organizational committee of the association about it and propose filing them. That’s why now the organizational committee sues the ministry.
