Zhlobin: Young Front Starts Struggle for Museum of Local Core

On 1 March there will pass a year since the closing of Zhlobin museum of local core. A week ago the chair of Zhlobin branch of the Young Front paid a visit to this institution and had a talk with the deputy director of the museum. The new building of the museum is being reconstructed for 12 years already.
On 1 March 2007 the Young Front starts gathering signatures in support of the museum. The following demands will be direct4ed to the local executive committee:
- Continuation of the museum’s work;
- Reconstruction of the new building of the museum;
- improvement of all graveyards and monuments.
It’s worth mentioning that there are several cemeteries to Jews and soldiers and more than 80 monuments on the territory of Zhlobin district. One of the main cemeteries is now under the local Ice Palace Metalurh.
