Krystsina Shatsikava Summoned to Prosecutor’s Office on April 26th

On April 24^th, civic activist Krystsina Shatsikava visited the juvenile commission of Kastrychnitski district administration of Mahiliou. The commission staff claims she neglects her parental responsibilities.

“In reality the commission does not really want anything from me. It is the Kastrychnitski district police department that wants something. The commission members did not reveal any facts that would make our family their client. Now they are going to send the materials back to police so that they rewrite the documents and give explanations why the commission is to ыуу the case of our family”б -- Krystsina Shatsikavatold RFE/RL.

When Shatsikava returned from the session of the juvenile commission she found two summons to come to prosecutor’s office on April 26^th in her mailbox.

The civic activist believes that the authorities are trying to prevent her from participation in Chernobyl March rally in Minsk.

Yesterday Krystsina Shatsikava’s lawyer submitted a suit to Mahiliou court against the staff of Mahiliou psychiatric hospital. In the end of March she was violently kept in the hospital for almost three days.

The suit is based on the results of the independent medical examination carried out by the Association of Independent Psychiatrists of Russia at Moscow Center of Human Rights.
