Action against Abolishment of Privileges for Students to Take Place in Minsk

Activists of the student movement have applied to Minsk city executive committee for authorization of a protest action against abolishment of privileges for students. They intend to hold the action at 5 p.m. on 20 May in Banhalor Square. At present the organizational committee of the action consists of five youth organizations and includes representatives of the majority of Minsk high schools. It is also intended to organize performances of musicians at the action.
