Zmitser Dashkevich Returns to Sawmill

The political prisoner Zmitser Dahskevich works in the colony at wood-sawing again. Previously he was placed to a prison hospital because of problems with his spinal cord.

For more than a week there was no news form the political prisoner about that. And recently the political prisoner Artur Finkevich received news about his friend from acquaintances.

’He is not writing a lot. He whites that everything is alright, he works again in the wood-sawing forest plot. He decided so himself. Maybe he is not carrying heavy logs anymore, but does something else. It could be better for him,’ the activist told to RFE/RL.

The situation of Artur Finkevich is not changing. Artur is serving a sentence of corrective labor in Mahiliou for political graffiti. Zmitser Dashkevich is in Shklou colony. The former Young Front leader is serving a 1.5-year term.
