House of Government to Be Picketed on Child’s Day?

A request for picketing the house of government was submitted to Minsk executive committee by secretary of the Party of Communists Belarusian Alena Skryhan, leader of the women’s party Nadzeya Alena Yaskova, first secretary of the Central Committee of LKSMB (Lenin’s Communist Union of Youth) Zmitser Yanenka.
The picket is supposed to be held on 1 June, International Day of Protection of Children. In the square at the House of Government in Minsk initiators of the action intend to protest against annulment of social guarantees for children, schoolchildren, veterans of war and labor, disabled.
