Courts of Hrodna: one penalty and seven warnings

The Leninsky district court of Garodnya penalized Maksim Gubarevich with 10 base rates; seven other activists received warnings, the Radio Svaboda broadcasts.Reports of participation in the unsanctioned picket were considered by judge Zmitser Matsyaiuk. He prohibited the journalists to present at the consideration.
It is to be mentioned that the youth came to protest against the old steam mill ˜s demolition in the center of Garodnya in Mikhas Vasyliok Street. They were holding the” Don’t Destroy Garodnya! Protected by Law!” street banner. They were detained by the militia.
