Svetlahorsk Citizens Apply for Picket against Repeal of Benefits

A group of citizens (consisting mostly of pensioners) has applied to Salihorsk district executive committee for authorization of a picket against liquidation of social guarantees for disabled persons, war and labor veterans, children, students and pupils.
The applicants ask to permit to them picketing near the city Culture House, 4 to 7 p.m. on 8 July. The initiators of the picket promise to provide order during the mass action, watch the state of health of the picket participants, clean the territory after its end and implement all other demands which are provided by the law on mass actions.
