The participants of the action in defense of historical heritage in Hrodna were released yesterday at about 6 p.m.
One of the action participants Ales Zaleuski told RFE/RL, for a long time the policemen didn’t know what to do with the detained, because they hadn’t done anything wrong – they just walked on the street drawing attention of the passers-by not by actions, but by their appearance.
According to Ales Zaleuski, the police officers planned to draw a report about the two of the nine detained, and threatened to leave them behind bars. However, in the end they just had all the detained sign a declaration that they would not participate in flash mobs anymore. Otherwise, they would be punished. After that the police released the detained.
