Fine for One Sticker

On 1 August Leninski borough administrative commission of Hrodna fined a member of Belarusian People’s Front Party Stsiapan Svidzerski about 56 US dollars. He was found guilty of having violated article 21.14 of the Administrative Code (violation of the sanitation rules in towns and cities) for having posted a sticker on the building in Savetskaya Street 15.
‘For one sticker I was fined 124 000 rubles’, said Stsiapan Svidzerski. ‘My friends and I have an idea: to collect this money in the smallest banknotes and solemnly carry it in a box with inscription ‘For Reconstruction of Hrodna’ along Savetskaya Street. It would be a good action.’
