Youth leader Pavel Sevyarinets is not allowed to leave Belarus. At the department for citizenship and migration of the Vitsebsk Pershamaiski district Pavel Sevyarinets was refused of the exit permit. ‘The department staff members advised him to apply for the permit after 15 August. That day is a deadline of my liberty restriction which I was sentenced to. Though under conditional ahead-of- scale release a person must not be restricted of traveling. Simply I had to give a written promise of not leaving the country for more than a month’, Pavel Seviarynets said.
The policy maker considers that the staff members of the department for citizenship and migration simply fulfilled the top order. Pavel Seviarynets was sentenced to two years of the liberty restriction for organizing in October 2004 the protest action against falsification of the referendum results which allowed Lukashenka to be elected for the presidency in Belarus as many times as he wishes.
