The criminal case against the activist of Young Front Yaraslau Hryshchenia (brought under article 193.1 of the criminal case, ‘activity on behalf of unregistered organization’) contains materials that were received by the investigation by bugging his mobile telephone that was registered on a different name. There are about 20 minutes of recorded talks.
After familiarization with the case materials Hryshchenia said that he heard the voice of Zmitser Dashkevich (leader of Young Front, sentenced to 1,5 years of jail under article 193.1) on the tapes.
The case also includes four hours of video shots and testimonies of witnesses, starting from Hryshchenia’s parents and ending with the master of the school where he learnt. The police videoed Hryshchenia during trials over the Young Front activists Barys Haretski, Zmitser Khvedaruk, Aleh Korban and Nasta Palazhanka, during Chernobyl Way and Freedom Day actions.
‘I have an impression that all policemen with video cameras filmed only me during these actions from many points. I look like a star,’ said Yaraslau Hryshchenia. According to him, the criminal case also has many photos.
Bear in mind that on 8 August Yaraslau Hryshchenia received official charges under article 193.1 signed by the investigator of Baranavichy city police department V.Paulouski.
