A political prisoner Andrei Klimau has been sent to the high security prison in Mazyr. Since 10 October till lately he has been kept in an investigative isolator in Minsk.
On 1 August Tsentralny district court in Minsk held a secret closed trial of Klimau and sentenced him to 2 years in high security prison. He was found guilty of distributing calls to state overturn by means of internet. On 2 October Minsk city court considered the cassation complaint and left the verdict of Tsentralny district court in force.
