Let us remind the readers, on September 26th Maskouski court of Brest judge Volha Smirnova gave Anastasia a warning for participation in an unauthorized meeting. However, she attended presentation of Paval Seviarynets’ book “Letters from the Woods” on August 19th as a reporter.
The regional judicial instance left the decision of the district court in force.
Earlier Brest regional court turned down cassation complaints about lower court verdicts of two other members of the Belarusian Association of Journalists – Yauhen Bialasin (he was fined 62 thousand BYR) and Liubou Pranevich (she was given a warning).
